Detectable - avanSAFE DETECTOR
The avanSAFE Detector is a stainless steel alloy in very fine powder form, designed to make plastics detectable through metallic, magnetic, or X-ray methods.
- It is used for detecting small rubber parts to avoid contamination of products in food manufacturing processes (parts ranging from 3 to 7 mm).
- Suitable for applications in contact with food and in compliance with IFS, HACCP, and BRC standards.
- Applicable for formulations in any color.
- Odorless and non-migratory.
- Various carrier substances available for MB options, as well as custom blends.
Density Enhancer and Magnetic Behavior
avanSteel 80-90 enables a drastic increase in the density of rubber.
- MB compatible with all matrices.
- Density values from 5.5 to 11 g/cm³.
- 100% customizable, adjust your plastic individually to density ranges from 1.1 to 11 g/cm³.
- Corrosion and chemical resistance.
- Valid from 10/2011 and FDA (food-grade).

Anti-Blooming and Anti-Odor
Our modified filler effectively reduces the migration of plasticizers, ZnO, and other substances in rubber formulations. It eliminates or reduces unpleasant odors that may occur during the vulcanization of rubber and elastomers with sulfur or peroxide. This non-toxic additive is suitable for products in all colors, has minimal impact on physical properties, and complies with REACH guidelines. In powder form, it provides a convenient option for a variety of rubber applications.

avanSURFACE 14
The additive reduces the torque and energy required for processing rubber in the Banbury machine, leading to energy savings .
Efficient for:
- Reducing friction of rubber products with other substances
- Protecting the rubber surface
- Decreasing surface wear of rubber
MFI Enhancer
The MFI (Melt Flow Index) enhancer is typically used in polymer processing to improve the melt flow index of polymers. The melt index measures the ease with which a molten polymer flows under standardized temperature and pressure conditions.
Polymer formulations receive an MFI enhancer to modify the rheological properties of the melt and thereby improve flow characteristics. This is particularly advantageous in processes such as injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding, where consistent and controllable flow properties are essential for achieving desired product characteristics and manufacturing efficiency.
MFI enhancers are primarily used with HDPE, mainly in recycling and with other polyolefins such as polypropylene and polyolefin copolymers. This is done particularly to incorporate a higher proportion of recycled plastic, reduce the proportion of virgin plastic, and alleviate machine stress due to the low MFI.
There are different ways to use this material, such as:

Increasing the proportion of recycled PE with low MFI and potentially completely replacing the virgin plastic content in such blends. |

Using as a starting point for rPE or PE with lower MFI, which are typically more cost-effective. |

Reducing stress on injection molding machines and molds, as well as increasing flexibility of blown films. |
In the case of PE, we have indications that the MFI of rPE can double or even triple with a dosage of 5%. We are happy to provide samples for you to try with your specific plastics. It's always best to try it out.
