Kaolin
SOKA kaolins enhance the mechanical properties of your product in terms of tensile strength, elongation, compression deformation, abrasion resistance, surface texture, while reducing blending costs.
The calcined, amorphous, white, and inert kaolins stimulate dielectric properties, DRC, tensile strength, AR, acid, base, and water resistance, as well as providing a perfect and non-conductive surface texture of the profile.
Our surface-treated, calcined kaolins allow for the incorporation of large amounts of fillers and ensure high mechanical and electrical performance, as well as improved resistance to thermal aging, UV radiation, and immersion. They are particularly recommended for cables, sealing profiles, cellular rubbers, etc.
Kaolins are used for the production of the following plastics due to their dimensional stability, chemical resistance, infrared (IR) barrier, impact and scratch resistance, and smooth surface: PA6, PA6.6, polyethylene, polyolefin, PE/EVA, PVAC, PVC, SMC, BMC, PU, and PS.
If you want to replace or reduce the use of carbon black, silica, or TiO2, please feel free to call us to discuss our solutions.
