The Avanzare Group offers a range of solutions for PmB (Polymer Modified Bitumen) road surfaces. Dry and powdery sulfur additives can be replaced by a dust-free polymer-bonded sulfur batch. By improving handling and eliminating the risk of explosions in your plant, as well as achieving a more homogeneous dispersion in your bitumen mixture, the PmB product family from AVANZARE enhances the processing and performance of various SBS-modified road and roofing materials (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene).
SBS modification leads to an improvement in product performance. This includes higher cohesion and better adhesion to aggregates, a greater plasticity range (temperature range between the breaking point and softening point), significant elastic recovery after relief, increased fatigue resistance, as well as extending the lifespan and reducing road noise.
The AVANZARE PmB product family is designed for use with most (Nitrile and SBS type) PmB systems; no additional hardeners or crosslinking agents are required or recommended for the production of high-quality PmB products.
AVANZARE's sulfur dispersions and H2S scavengers protect operators from hazards and enable controlled and reproducible incorporation of key ingredients into your bitumen formulation. This eliminates the need for operators to handle powdered or molten sulfur and the associated risks.
